Reiki: 

The Whispering Seashell offers all levels of Usui Reiki Classes (Reiki I, II and Master Level Training) , Reiki Healing Treatments ( a form of relaxation that helps to heal mind, body and spirit) and Spiritual Energy Clearings.
Reiki treatments and classes offer us a way to tap into positive spiritual energy, so that we in turn can help ourselves and others. 

What is Reiki? 

A spiritually guided life force energy.
Rei-Spiritual Wisdom, a higher knowledge or spiritual consciousness.  The wisdom that comes from God or the higher self and is the god-consciousness, which is all knowing.  It knows all, it knows the cause of all problems.

Ki-Life Energy - The life force that animates all living things.  As long as the energy is alive, it has this life force with in it.  When it dies, the life energy departs.  Ki is also the primary energy of our emotions, thoughts and spiritual life.

How Reiki help heal? 

We are alive because our life energy, Ki, is flowing through us.  Ki flows within the physical body through pathways called Chakras, Meridians and Nadis.  It flows around us in a field of energy called the Aura.

Free flowing Ki is the cause of health.  The Ki brings life to the organs and tissues as it flows through them.  When the flow of Ki is blocked, it causes diminished  functioning within one of more of the organs and tissues of the body.

Ki is responsive to thoughts and feelings.

When we have positive thoughts, we increase our flow of Ki and we feel better.  However, when we have negative thoughts, our Ki is blocked and we do not feel as good.  When negative thoughts become lodged into our subconscious mind, they create a permanent disruption of Ki.

This happens when we either consciously or unconsciously accept negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves.

This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body and unless the blockage is released, a person could eventually become ill or in a state of disease.

Reiki raises the level of vibration in the body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached.  This causes the negative energy to fall apart or  breakup and fall away.

Reiki clears, strengthens and heals the energy pathways, allowing Ki to flow freely.
